T4 Post Icon Turbo boost valve

Hi - Having issues with 2001 2.5 that detects over boost and loses power (Charge Pressure Positive deviation p17965) . Checkd and replaced all vac lines vac tested waste gate actuator and linkage. Come to the conclusion its the boost sensor. I have tried to trace the correct part but every time I did a search it comes up with the N75 1H0 906 627 A or similar and I need the shorter and different looking 701 906 283 valve.
Not sure if there is an alternative to this valve or if its been superseded. Any help gratefully received,.

1H0 906 627 A is for a 1.9 TDi as far as I can see....

Maybe at sometime, someone just bought a "N75" valve assuming it was correct?

Sometimes the boost sensor is built into the ECU, if your ECU has a hose going to it there it is ! Sometimes they rot internally (there is a short section of tube inside that can be replaced)
