T4 Post Icon play in steering rack

Checked me steering today found play in the rack not joints wots actually gone, wot do I change, its a 2001 t4 19td

If it's not play in the track rod end ball joint then more than likely it'll be play in the tie rod ball joint which is inside the steering rack gaiter.
You can replace the tie rod on its own as it separates from the actual rack and track rod end.
Simply remove track rod end then remove the rack gaiter and you should be able to get some grips on the tie rod to undo it anti clockwise, build it back up and then get the wheel alignment checked
