Default Now sold!!!!!!!

Hi

*************SORRY THIS VAN IS NOW SOLD*****************

I have for sale my pride and joy, as I am moving on up to a larger camper.

She is a LHD (imported myself 2 years ago), Dragon Green metallic Multivan.

Spec includes : Automatic climate control front and rear, cruise control, ABS, Electric mirrors, electric windows, Heated seats, Eberspacher auxilary heater, Blue illuminated dials, multifunction computer, five speed manual box, factory coolbox under rear jump seat, removable passenger side jump seat, Audi A8 18" alloys, original Westfalia bike rack, Thule roof rack, oh and the all important Multivan bed with storage under.

She is in very good condition inside and out.

Driven daily.

More practical than a Caravelle because of the full width bed / seat. Halfway to a camper, but with the ability to carry more people and gear.

Engine is the factory fitted very powerful 150Hp 2.5 TDI unit. This returns 35mpg no problem at 75-80mph, or about 40 at legal speeds!

Makes the standard 102 Bhp model feel like a dog!

Much higher spec than most UK vans as the Germans tend to keep the best ones for themselves!

I will be taking photos tomorrow and posting them ASAP.

Viewing highly recommended.

I have seen RHD Multivans of a far lower spec sell for way way more than this (the reason why I bought her in the first place), so go on save yourself a packet.

Price now reduced to OIRO 8000

Let me know if you are interested. Then van is in South Wales.

I can be contacted on 07976 244467, or pm me on here.

Regards
Iain

Hi

That's ok! I'm not sure how it can be a low spec. There isn't really anything else you can get in it! Admittedly it doesn't have colour coded bumpers, but that's about it.
As I am aware not many UK vans had digital climate control and digital auxilary heaters either.

Yes I am sure it is the 150 BHP engine. One look under the bonnet and it's obvious because of the huge cover over the engine and the enormous intercooler, oh and the engine code. I will try to post a picture of the engine bay.

Thanks for looking.

Regards
Iain

Hi

She has covered almost 190000 miles, which as you all know is nothing for these engines if properly maintained. On the continent, owners think nothing of driving thousands of KM to go on holiday, unlike us Brits who prefer to fly. Consequently their vans have higher mileages, but these miles are predominantly on Autobahns which is good for engines, not rubbish A and B roads like over here!

I have all the German service history and receipts for work done since I have owned it, which has been carried out at a VW main dealer.

Cam belt was changed shortly before she was sold to me in Germany. I have receipts for this also.

Automatic Climate Control is brilliant and you can have diferent settings for the rear passengers from the front. Auxillary heater is really good when you are staying in the van overnight and can also be set to come on in the morning before you even get in the van so that all the windows are clear and it's warm inside!
Plus then you have the heated seats.

Mechanically she is tip top and is superb to drive, although very hard to keep to legal speed limits! Thank God for the Cruise Control!

Regards
Iain

Hi

Forgot to mention that with the van there is also a full set of Multivan curtains which attach via poppers and are the original items. They fit really well and are easy to attach / remove.

I also have a Kyham Motordome sleeper awning which was for the van and could be negotiated on top of an agreed price.

Regards
Iain
