Hello forum! The rear coil top chassis mount is corroded. It's the thick plate where the van chassis sits on top of coil. The plate is rust free but the chassis member in between the floor and plate is wetabix! Has anyone had this repaired? Is there a part I can buy? Cheers for any advice

Hello, I'm thinking about buying a T4 Camper and I spotted one with a recent advisory on the MOT "corrosion to underbody and suspension" The van is roughly 25 years old. Is this something to worry about or to be expected on a vehicle this age? Is it easy to remedy or protect against further...

Been informed by the VW mains dealership in Dartford, Kent that my 2004 T5 appears to have stood in a damp field for 2 years because of the corrosion on its underside. This does not tally up with the actual body condition. Also having checked the mot history it was definitely driven every year...

Ok, not posted for a while which is a good thing! So my alarm goes off between 10mins and 8 hours after being locked, typically goes off in the middle of the night. Did a Vagcom and quite a few faults point to the control module under the drivers seat. There is quite a lot posts on here about a...

Hi there we recently bought our first van - a 1997 T4 LWB Twin Slider. She was taxi at some point. She's not in the best nick but better than some, at least from what we've been able to see from the outside. The seller of the van had no service history but did have a 12mth clean MOT for the...

Hi, I'm a new member just signed on today and and interested in picking peoples brains about a electrical issue I have with my 2004 T28 1.9 TDI van. The long and short of it is that the central locking stopped working and I traced it back to a leaky windscreen that had saturated the footwell...
