Hi everyone, I am new to the group and just thought I would share an issue with you in the hope that one of you may be able to offer a solution.
I currently own a 2010 2.0TDi T28 and have recently been experiencing an anomaly where the steering gets increasingly heavier once the engine has...
I tried posting this in the parts section but couldn't- apologies if this is not the right forum for this question!
I'm looking for a VW bike rack 3rd arm, does anyone have any suggestions of where to go for a good price/cheaper alternatives? The standard on main websites seems around...
Hello all, I appear to have a problem with the steering rack on my 2005 2.5, but I can't find any info about the T5 rack on here. Any advice appreciated.
In January I changed the pump as the fluid was no longer green, indicating oil contamination from knackered pump seal. After the pump change...
What is recommended for a tow-bar mounted bike rack?
Need to carry 2x bikes, ideally tilting and not too much stuff directly over the tow ball that would foul doors.
MAIN CONSIDERATION is not having the handlebars or pedals getting anywhere near the doors!
I have a T4 Caravelle LWB VR6 Auto and love it.
I have had this for 3 years now and have just removed my second steering rack due to the exhaust grinding a grove in the rack and causing a leak.
When in situ the exhaust is resting on the rack and the join of the outer shell of the exhaust...
Has anyone tried one of these? Reading some literature from the states these may work on a T5 with spoiler without the need of a tow bar....about £200 too. Is this a solution many have been seeking or a waste of time? Trying to avoid the cost of towbar and rack.
This was on my T5 when I purchased it.
It's a genuine VW model and can hold up to 4 bikes.
It works perfectly and has the attachments for the bikes. It has a slight bend on the top right which was there from the previous owner but it doesn't impact it's operation at all, just cosmetic, could...
Can anybody please recommend a bike carrier (2 bikes) to fit a T4 with rear barn doors. It has a towbar so I know that will accommodate a carrier but are there any racks that will fit on the doors?
My T4 decided to squirt out all its PAS Fluid.
I managed to have a look and it looked like it was squirting from one of the control pipes joints with the rack.
I changed this pipe and still have the problem.
I have had a better look, straining my neck into positions i didn't know i could get...
Selling my Fiamma bike rack, its for the T4 double rear door model. Takes 2 bikes quickly and securely. Under a year old, used often, but in perfect working order.

One of the first challenges of my conversion was to find a way of carrying my surfboards that was functional but did not spoil the look of the van.
Normally you would just put on a roof rack and be done with it but I have a factory fitted T5 hi top which is made of fibreglass and there are no...
Planning a long Euro adventure and want to take bikes on the back of our t4. Was wondering if anyone has ideas on if the following rack exists:
Bike rack (tow bar or rear mounted) that allows the tailgate to open? Don't fancy taking it off everytime we need to get into the back :(
I'm after a bike rack for a T4 tailgate. Ideally one that mounts to the door but there's a tow ball fitted so would consider one that mounts there.
In a bit of a rush as sposed to be going to Fort William for the DH mountain bike world cup on the weekend and the bikes won't fit inside the...
I finally got around to having a bit of a clear out and the thing taking up the most space is the motorbike rack that came with my van when I bought it.
I'm pretty sure that the previous owner said it was for a 50cc Minibike or Minimoto, but I don't ride myself so might have got that...
