Hi. My alternator is not charging and my van laid up til it's sorted. Mine is a 97 1.9TD ABL with a valeo 90amp alt. Is it worth attempting to replace the reg before I buy a complete unit? Also can the Valeo be replaced with a Bosch or another brand? My van doesn't have a rev counter and it's...
