Hi everyone, new to this forum and happy to be here
I currently have a 1998 Caravelle 2.5 TDI which I am in the process of doing all the jobs I haven't got round to since buying it a year ago.
I'm no stranger to figuring out/fixing parts of vehicles but just wondered if anyone could point me in...
My van has a small quirk with the wipers when the weather is cold. When I try to wash the front windscreen, the rear wiper turns on as well. I'm wondering if this is a problem in the relay, or if it's actually in the contact in the stalk on the steering column. I was thinking of dismantling it...
Now the cold weather has arrived, as soon as the washer fluid freezes & you pull the washer switch on it blows the fuse!!
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Anyone have any solutions apart from expensive concentrated windscreen wash (-20 degrees) or carry lots of spare fuses?
