Hi, vans been playing up for abit. Not always from cold but after 5 mins driving, I get a miss fire, judder, light power loss under mid loads. I can coast about but its still there in background. I can drive through worst but dont like thrashing the old girl at 192k. 04 plate 1.9 pd 104tdi axb I was told it has been chipped but cant back it up.. Read codes with a snap on scanner.

I opted for injector loom in head first and everything was good for week or 2 but I dont do huge miles in van anyway. Codes were cleared after loom then reread every couple of weeks when scanner was available. These 2 codes kept reappearing. Is there any other areas of engine bay harness to check before accepting I need injectors? Now we're talking injectors, there not cheap are they! £715 dealer each, euro car parts do bosch £280 or lower brand recon at £150. Theres a good diesel place 20 mile away but they cant do pd injectors, they will send them off for me. £50 to test each one but if it requires repair they wave the test fee. Nice of them. I love bosch stuff and trust the brand but my pockets dont have money pouring out of them. I should get all 4 checked banking on 2 bad ones will require repair and 2 ok. Any recomdations or brands to avoid? While im at this point, if I wanted to increase power what injectors would be suitable? I didnt look at number on mine when I change loom buts its axb engine code.what will these èngines go upto power wise with bolt on upgrades and remaps? Planning a overhaul at 200k but keeping standard internals.(injectors pending) all input is greatly appreciated.
