Hi. Been fixing a few leaks on the van and this one is next on the list. After getting a quote for £150:eek: I decided to have a go myself. Read the How To's on here and looks like it's not too bad. Had a quick look at my pump today and first thing i notice is mine has got a round piece of plastic with bosch written on it covering the spindle. This piece of plastic also has a wire coming out of it. I'm guessing this has to come off first before i can get to the spindle arm but does anyone know any different. anyone ever done the seals on a 2.4 5 cylinder before, any tips would be welcome. taT:

Ok ignore the arrow, that was for someone elses benefit. This is what the 2.4D pump looks like without the immobiliser. Where is the black cover with the wire located on yours?

Hi Thanks for the reply. the black cover on mine is directly over the spindle. As far as i know i don't have an immobiliser. it's a gl model was auto but converted to manual if that's any help. ta john
