OK I'm doing this job this weekend and need a little advice.

I'm OK with the cam belt side of things but need some guidance on how to remove the head.
Can I just crack the feeder pipe / nut fitting off the injectors and take the power from the glow plugs and then remove both items once it is on the bench ? ......... I'm looking to undress the top end of pipes and cables, disconect the exhaust front pipe and just lift the head off with the inlet and exhaust manifilds still attached, then remove the injectors, glow plugs cam etc on the bench ....... does this sound OK ? .......

thanks David

I've done the same on a 1.9TD. I removed the injector pipes completely, as they're too easy to catch and damage otherwise. Also the head is awful, awful heavy with the manifolds on (and that was a 4 pot) - and I had to do some weird tipping an turning to get it out of the engine bay. But yes, injectors in place, and glowplugs just disconnected at one end is ok. It might be easier to remove the injector pump on a 2.4 - though no need at all on a 1.9TD.
