Just tried to nip up a leak from a banjo bolt on my power steering. Unfortunately, a very small leak turned into a pour as I tore up the (aluminium?)thread the upper banjo bolt bites into.

So, it looks like for the sake of a couple of bits of swarf, I am going to need a new power steering pump.

The van is a '92 T4 so I think that must be the early V-belt version.
Can anyone on here help me out?

Based in Shoreham near Brighton.

Cheers, Ed

Hello Armour. Waiting for text. (BTW. The substitute numbers are the ones they look like not the corresponding ones on the keypad.

Also, I tried to get my old PS pump off to check to see if it was earlier or later model.

Bloody hell, that is a mission. This is the 5cyl 2.4 pump and it looks like you need to remove the pulley in order to remove the pump, but how are you meant to hold the pulley still in order to undo the allen headed bolts. How did they do them up in the first place? Bit stumped.
