Hi Guys, van just cut out today, pulling hard along some straight road, (late for work) crested a hill and the engine died. Felt like my passat when I was having fuel starvation due to bio fuel, except it just died compleatley.
I'm planning to pull down the fuel tank and clean out whatever is in there, local garage said that the pump in there is prob shot and should be replaced, does anyone have a quick/easy way of telling how well the pump is running???
Also we towed the van ( good solid T4 Syncro - never broke down... )and she started, even though no amount of cranking on the key would get her running??? She seems to be running fine since? Any ideas where to start, nothing I've seen in the forums seems to describe this so far???
