hi all first post so here goes.I have just finished an auto to manual conversion on my 1997 2.5 petrol caravelle and while the engine was out i changed the water pump and timing belt,this is where the problems started.The flywheel is from a 2.4 diesel but has the same bolt pattern so the tdc mark should be right however there isn't a mark on the cam pulley.Auto data shows a line on the back of one of the teeth that you align with a pointer on the belt cover.Iv'e guessed it and nothing fouls,engine starts fine and runs but not sure its as good as it should be.Dose anyone have a pulley with the mark on and could tell me which tooth it is on say number of teeth after woodruff key slot.
Another thing i could do with knowing is wiring for reverse light, have read a previous thread and wondered if you can find the wires where the auto loom was plugged in instead of going to the fuse box thanks Ian
