Can anyone tell me if the 2400 d engines are any good, I have a 2.5TDI blue i whats best ?

As Paul, the previous poster said, the 2.4D less cpmplex. I am changing to a Blue I which I am tidying up in my shed. Had the 2.4 D Velle since 2004. 99% reliable, lost all my water once. God bless the AA on this ocassion.

Going to keep the 2.4D, (180k miles, no oil needed between changes), in case I don't like the new one.

2.4D grrreat for towing, carrying cement, bricks, anything. Also good for reverse snobbery!

I like my 2.4 T:

Mines got 306000 on the clock and still going strong. Burns no oil and 40 mpg on a run.

not worked mine out but sure i don't get near that, i'll check and hope that i do... then i'll like it even more
