id say they would fit but not pass a mot

i run et35 on a 225 tyre and that just fits under front arch

a 255 would be a further 15mm proud and would fail.

would fit the back though

would rub if it got lowered though i would of thought

Ive got 245/40/18's et35
They do fit but the front is borderline mot.
Tread is just about almost nearly covered by the arch kind of officer I:
255's would defo stick out too far bud.

Well if there cheap enough just buy some smaller tyres mate. 235's or 225's will be fine. :ILU:

My T4 runs on Audi A8 genuine alloys ET35 with 255 45 18's, it's lowered appx 50mm, did have issue with rubbing on the inside of the arch in the front when it was lowered 60mm, but after winding it back up 10mm and fitting bigger bump stops (from a Mini) no further probs I: They do stick out a little at the front though but passed MOT 3 times since fitting.
