Hi all.
Firstly loving my new t5 and not missing the performance of my old t4 one bit. Even though I do miss the rest of her a little

My t5 is a 2005 T28 which has stock springs, I have seen on fle bay some new OEM eiback sport line spring that will drop the van 30mm. Even though I'm dropping it 30 mm I can't loose the strength, as I will be towing a car trailer at some point. It does state the rear sprung weight is 1720kg but I'm not sure how to enterprate this. I have only seen that sport lines come in T30 versions! Is this right? If so then they will be good for 3000kg.
Any help, advice, experience would be appreciated

Many thanks and cheers for reading.

Matt.

I have a t30 with sportline springs fitted when purchased. T30 is 3000kg so will be fine. Have a look under your bonnet for the axel weights, these should be either the same or less than the spring weights. The T5 is weighted differently front to back hence axel weights vary.
