I only have old tyre fitting equipment I always say if your really caring about your wheels (which your quite right to be) and you would be upset if I lmarked them then I would say have them done some where else. 9.9/10 there is know marks left.
The wheel alignment equipment is a different story its the best equipment on the market and will have the best job done.

Hmm I seriously need tis done on my fronts with the inner tyres scrubbing, did have it done by VW dealer but they are still scrubbing.

What I did was put the 2 older tyres on the front and the newer ones on the back (newer ones showed me tyre wear) to see if VW sorted the srub but they are still scrubbing.

I guess if I brought the van up to you with 2 brand new tyres fitted on the front and the van loaded with my average weight you will do a job that will get shot of my tyre wear?!:)

Yeh that wont be a problem. Didn't they not provide you with a print out to show you what the cambers finalised at.
Let me know when your thinking of getting this sorted.

Just had mine checked today and can only say good things about Lee at FCM. 4 wheel alignment check and adjust the tracking £15. Bargain, worth it just to know why my tyres were scrubbing out.

What adjustments can be made on a T5? Mines a 2011 Gp T28, i had mine done (4 wheel lazer setup) and was told by the garage there is no way of adjusting the rears. Is that true?
This is the printout they gave me. TBH the numbers mean nothing to me, does it look ok to you?
Cheers Si

Hi Si,
The rear toe is adjustble on the rear of a T5.
Looking at your print your rear's are even which is a good thing but I would need to check the settings to make sure they are in spec. Do you find your T5 still pulls to the left, the reason I say this is because your right hand front camber is a lot more neg. then your left camber even if your not feeling the pulling I would still have it adjusted.

Hope this helps.

No, it doesn't pull, but next time I lower it abit more i'll get it re-checked. Cheers. Si

I am trading at Bristol Volks fest this weekend and I can see that the front Camber on my t4 is out on the passenger wheel. Perhaps you can sort it out for me?
Hi Sorting it is no problem but only open Saturday morning on a weekend.

Another recommendation for Lee T: Knows his stuff and explained everything to me, adjusted my near side tracking which was way out even though it had been done about 2 months ago.
Good to meet you mate.
Thanks for the feedback. Glad to be at service.

Another big thumbs up for LeeT:

Just done a 80 mile round trip to get my Camber, Caster & Tracking corrected after still getting tyre wear when the VW dealer done it beginning of the year.

Lee explained everything and rather than looking for the recommended spec by VW he put on all the settings he would recommend. He did give me the choice of standard settings or what he could see what was happening to my tyres and I went for his expert advise.
He also fitted my 2 new tyres which I brought up with me.

I have to say my drive back home was bloody lovely!
No more pull to the right and it was great that my van is no longer shunted left and right when I hit ridges in the road (tram lining).

I reckon if the road was straight I could have driven home no handed!A:
It's great that I no longer have to battle with the steering wheel.

If you've lowered your van or changed the wheels get this man to sort you out, very friendly and full of advice
