hi all, i have a 140hp 6 speed van 2011.
i suspect my rev counter is showing the wrong revs:
at 70mph its at 1950 revs and 80 mph, about 2100. this seems way too low. if anyone has a similar van could they note what revs theirs show and report back please.

cheers all :)

40mpg !
I average 30mpg
Me too :) pootlimg, town work, motorway, trailer towing, doesn't matter, always within 1MPG either side of 30MPG

Downside of the low revs in 6th ... So quiet, I sometimes forget to change up from 5th and occasionally even 4th

That's about right & more or less the same as the 2.5/5-pot/6-sp

what size tyres are you running??
Tyre size makes no difference to the relationship of the indicated MPH & indicated RPM on the instruments.

Have the same van running on 18" wheels and getting the same revs as you at both speeds.

Had a steady 600 mile motorway run up north and back today, 39.9 mpg on the way up with the prevailing wind, and 37.3 mpg on the way back, van with about 200 kilos in the back.

Seems yours is spot on T:

mines the same, but at 70mph it's just under 2k and you can feel the engine is off boost and not quite happy so I generally set the cruise control bang on 2k, which is just over 70mph but speed camera safe and it does 38mpg no bother at all.

Same revs here about 2k at 70. Just did a 500 mile run mostly motorway at 60-70 plus some country & town and saw 42mpg on my 140 4motion. That's according to the MFD at least!
