Looked into getting this for the ol' bus, as just got one and am about to start the conversion process.
When I rang the AA to ask if the parts and labour warranty applied to the van, she said yes (as long as gross weight is less than 3.5T). However, if I converted the van and got it re-registered as a motor-caravan, the warranty became invalid.
I tried to explain that putting a bed, cooker and sink in didn't make the van less reliable, and she agreed, but thems the rules!
Apparently, it may be down to the patrolman's discretion, as it is he who decides if the claim should be processed.
Doesn't appear as if the RAC have the same exclusion so may jump ship to them
Thought it was worth letting peeps know
