I am trying to wire a dash camera into the permanent live in the dash cigarette wiring, on the wiring for the dash cam it has a wire with (battery+) and a wire with (ACC) and also a from memory grey wire with a terminal on the end for the earth wich i have attached to a bolt to the bulkhead, my question is do i need to join the battery and ACC wire together so the camera will work 24/7 ?

Battery wire is normally for memory and acc is ignition live. If you put both together then it will powered permanently. Not an issue if you can turn it off on the camera.
