Hello

I've recently brought a T4 2.5 Tdi ACV with a 2.5 tdi volvo engine supplied. The ACV engine has a marking saying 74s and the volvo Engine has 74L. Only different i can see is the dip stick has a hole in the casing at the front.

Has anybody esle come across any other differences ?

There are obvious peripheral differences i.e. manifolds etc.

The 21.90mm wide big end bearings were fitted on 1T/AEL, d5252 t Volvo engine, AAT/AEL and ACV,AXG, AUF, AJT and a few of it’s variants as fitted on the t4 van...
