When you swap over the EGR value for the power pipe dont just blank of the allow pipe off at the top (the silvery one that bent slightly and flexes). Remove the pipe and blank off at the base -at what I think is the exhaust manifold. Reason are 2 fold
  1. It will rub on the shiney power pipe and mark it
  2. The power pipe pushes it back and strains it casing it to fail and result in loss of power.

Hopefully that will help and stop you having to be towed off the motorway!!

Well got it back today and well the van really shifts now. There must of been a small leak in the pipe before and I hadn't noticed. The is alot faster and more responsive now. I heartily recommend removing the EGR valve and blanking off at the manifold to everyone. well worth it!! T: T: T: :D

Hi there Tomcat, a few questions for you from a numpty!!

1; Is yours a 1.9Td?

2; I read that it makes it a bit faster but what is the fuel mpg like then?

3; Got any piccies? if so post them up.
