Hi all.

I put a thread up regarding a vibration at speed that has appeared on my 2006 T5 with axd engine last week i think.

After doing some diagnistic tests i found the injectors are looking really work, so this evening removed the front etc to get the cam cover off.

Well, i have found the camshaft in a right state with a few heavily worn lobes. So, along with the injector removal and testing, the injector wiring looks like a new cam and followers will be going in.

Van has done 182,000 miles, and in 2 yrs since i have had it, longlife II genuine VW oil which is 506 rated has been put in.

That was untill last service, where i forgot to take the oil with me to work and used some of the stuff from there, the newest dexon 3 Vauxhall oil that does 507.01.

Coincidence i think that now me camshaft is knackered i think
