Hi

I am just about to fit a new thermostat and wonder how many litres of anti freeze I will need to put in, I guess about 5 litres to get the 50-50 mix would this be correct, its a T4 2.5 td 5 cylinder.

mine used 2.5 litres anti freeze to the same water. I still have half the original anti freeze for the next change. Remember to use the pink stuff as it's not as corrosive as the blue stuff.

And Remember that all Anti freeze is pretty toxic...should be disposed of properly....Pets would be tempted to lick it as it's sweet. Apparently can kill a cat quite easily.

So I've read...Best to take precautions.
