Hello, Have been doing searches on a 5th gear upgrade on my PP172 (02b vw gearbox) but cant see anything on the 2.5. Are they all the same? or is it not been done?.
I Think this would be a perfect upgrade for my van as it is way under geared and could take quite a big jump in ratios.
Any advice/info would be great.

The AA vans had the intercooled 102bhp TDI motor which had it's own 02G gearbox - the 02B gearbox was fitted to most 88bhp TDI motors which are covered in...
