As the title suggests really guys T: I'm heading that way next week and would like something (A) Open (B) Fairly central and (C) Good facilities and location. Any suggestions and ones to avoid would be appreciated T:T:

hi we stayed here two years ago.. but it has been bought by the caravan club now, so i do not now if they take campers.
it is a great location and there is a nice canal walk in the the town

In Crickhowell there is a wild camping spot, look at the town on google satalite view and you can even see a motorhome in the main carpark there. Some amazing mountain biking to be had there too!

dont know any campsites there but you will have a great time, brecon is really nice! if you climb pen y fan and want a butty afterm dont go to the car park right at the top, got o theone half way up the road ~(ypul know when u see it) the carpark on the corner of the steep road where all the bikers stop... much nicer views!

Just a little bit of feedback on where we stayed. We stopped at the National Show Caves campsite which was nice and central to explore the Brecons. The site was pretty good and reasonably priced, Facilities were good with hook up, heated shower blocks and none of this coin operated shower stuff i hate either.
