Hi all,

I'm soon about to start building a bed platform in the back of our T6 Kombi on the driver's side and intend using the folded back of the bench seat as part of the bed (I'll be using a camping matress over the top).
However I want to replace the thin hardboard backing with a sheet of ply which will be much stiffer.

I was wondering if anyone else had done anything like this?

Cheers in advance

Alan

Evening... I was thinking along the same lines and looking at doing something similar but in the end found a really good company called Amdro and bought a bed and unit with cooker Which slides out of the unit.
I'm very pleased with it all.

Ta, but not looking for a permanent build, more something I can chuck in now and then, but keep the cargo space for most of the time.

6mm or 9mm plywood will do it. Remove the rear of the seat cover and you can then remove the existing board and use as a template
