Can space saver spare wheels be banded?
As I spotted some 18" merc ml space saver steels and thought, 18" banded steels would look good. Especially with a nice big dish.

People do it all the time.

Not sure I would trust them on a van though. Space savers being temporary an all.

Just be aware of the standard width and ET, you may find you can only band say 3'' to keep in the arch's but overall the width wouldn't be massive and tyre choice maybe limited if you need stretch....

Double banded, thats what you need

agree with Andy..... the offset are not banding friendly, looked into this a while back & gave up

If you want to pay the price there are wheels in the states that are available in 18" that can be banded to suit but the costs of importing are very high

I've got some Audi Q7 20" space saver steelies laying around at work, those would look the boss with some banding :ILU:

wheels will be no good as they want be strong enough....min thickness is 2.5mm steel,any less aint no good on a van
