How about the 60's :)

Link to VW campers as was big part of the scene with old school hippy mobiles. peace and love and all that :D

Lots of great costume ideas..

and would be groovy baby yeah lol !!!

Back by popular demand, all VW Transporter owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu and park up within the museum complex for VW T Fest! It promises to be a superb weekend for VW Transporter owners and enthusiasts.

Sunday visitors to Beaulieu will be able to see the colourful display of VW Transporters parked on the Beaulieu arena for a show and shine, followed by presentations and trophies.

Show and Shine categories are:

Best in Show - 1st place

Best in Show - 2nd place

Furthest Driven

Best Working Project

Best Vansee Dress*

Best Fancy Dress*

*This year's fancy dress theme is the 1960s. Participants are encouraged to dress up, both person and vehicle are in the running for winning these categories.

SATURDAY CRUISE

This year’s cruise out will be to Exbury Gardens. VW T Fest participants are welcome to join the 4 mile cruise out to Exbury Gardens, departing at approximately 11am with the convoy gathering from 10.30am within the Beaulieu event fields.
Exbury Gardens is a 200 acre site with over 20 miles of pathways and a Steam Railway for visitors to explore.

Please note: tickets must be purchased separately for Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway, please visit their website for ticket prices and more details .

Exbury Gardens have kindly agreed that their onsite café, Mr Eddy’s Tea Room, will be fully accessible without purchasing entry into the Attraction – more details to follow on this.

VISITING OR TAKING PART?
There is a special rate for those participating in the event with an appropriate vehicle. Standard admission fee applies for all other visitors. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or on arrival. A £1 handling charge per order applies when purchased by telephone.



DON'T FORGET...
As well as being an opportunity to join hundreds of VW Transporters, there is also the opportunity to enjoy all that Beaulieu has to offer... Your entry will include admission to all the Beaulieu attractions including; The National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey and more.

VEHICLE ENTRY
Entry into the Beaulieu Parkland with your VW Transporter is from 2pm on Friday 11th until 7pm Sunday 13th August. Your event ticket covers entry into the Beaulieu attraction for the duration of the weekend.


ELIGIBLE VEHICLES
Please note that ALL VW Transporter models are welcome at this event, whether it's a rare vintage T1, a retro T25 or the latest T6!

COMING WITH FRIENDS
Each participating vehicle must have an individual printed e-ticket. If you are being joined by friends in other vehicles, please ensure they have their own tickets with them. If purchasing tickets for multiple vehicles please call 01590 614614 and tickets will be posted to you.


CAMPING
Camping is available to all show participants, simply purchase a camping ticket with your event tickets. Camping includes Friday and Saturday night.

Tickets all booked for the weekend inc camping unit, looking forward to it :) Can anyone from last year please let me know the arrangements for the camping, I imagine it will be off grid with toilets access

We're meant to be working again this year on these dates. ....all we can pray for is our days off fall right to be able to come a join you lot .:gl

Yes its the same as last year, there is a toilet block and wash facilities but no showers or hook up, its basic camping but in Beaulieu's own words, its a show ground before its a campsite.
Food wise, there is the Brabazon Restaurant on site during opening hours, but otherwise, BYO
