Mrs Jimbo’s Beetle (TDi) has no heat from the blowers, I have of course checked the coolant which is fine and the right colour, the oil is still nice and black, there is no lack of power and feeling all the hoses in the engine bay, they all seem hot.
So, I don’t think its thermostat, else some of the hoses would be cold, I also don’t think it Water pump or Cylinder head gasket – as its not down on power either
However, the last stretch home the coolant light came on for about three flashes – Soon as I dipped the clutch it went straight out … Checked all the above again, coolant, oil etc and all still fine.
This is open to the floor … any suggestions ?
