Best glue for rubber window trims side windows

Hi all the window seals on my aftermarket rear side windows when fitted were probably put on too tight and now they have been in for a few years they have shrunk slightly and split at the point where they were glued together, anyone recommend a glue that will stick them again properly, super glue is not man enough for the job i tried that already !

There are loads of how to's about fitting side windows in their vans but not one of them mentions how to glue the outer trim seals together, or what glue they used !!!

Anyone know what they used please as am refitting mine and want them to not come unstuck again !

It'll probably be one kind of sikaflex or another.. 221 perhaps.. might be worth calling a fitting specialist to see what they use..

Sorry, just re-read your post to see that you've already tried super glue. Sorry can't help you as it sounds like the trim is too short as superglue is what the professionals use and if that doesn't work then not sure there is anything that will. You can stretch the seals so may be worth trying that and trying again with super glue.

Thanks guys I will buy new seals and cut them to the right size and try super glue again !
