Sorry, just re-read your post to see that you've already tried super glue. Sorry can't help you as it sounds like the trim is too short as superglue is what the professionals use and if that doesn't work then not sure there is anything that will. You can stretch the seals so may be worth trying that and trying again with super glue.Superglue is used to stick the ends of the trim together.
