I hve 2.5tdi T4 long nose 2003.

Ok, lots of talk on here about

1 Intercoolers. Some people are saying these haven't made a difference though to their vans.

2 Injectors. Seems to be consensus that these are pretty good for boosting performance. Are they easy to fit and obtain?

3. Tuning/chipping

4. Decatt pipe. I'm not actually sure what that is, although know it's exhaust related. How much are these?

So which are most effective, and give good MPG, and what order should they be completed? Don't want to spend a load of money on an intercooler and pipes if it's not going make much difference. Also can't afford to do all of them..

appreciate any guidance on this..

Clicky my signature.

Depending on the model you have injectors / nozzles give the biggest gain.

I supply them too.

Remap is essential.

Big exhaust helps too.

EGR blank is good for keeping the inlet clean.

Ok, thanks for the info, very thorough. I'm probably going to go for some injectors etc and a remap and leave it at that; how much for injectors and Nozzles?

Also, does anyone on here declare their engine mods to their insurance company?

cheers

At present the only injectors I have are brand spanking new. Ready fitted with PP nozzles they work out at £485.

I declare.
