As a relatively new pop - top roof owner, and only using it a couple of times so far...
does anyone have any tips on folding the roof a certain way so as to:

1, Get the roof to fit snuggly to the van roof and
2, To fold the front panel (with the window) the best way so as not to damage the plastic window...

Thank you :)

I have a Reimo roof and i just pull it down and strap it. Haven't had any problems yet and not damaged the window or canvas.

I have a Reimo Roof.

To collapse it, I grab both the handles and pull it down until just before closure there is a slight 'Dead Spot'. I hold the roof in place with my head and pull from the inside all the loose folds of canvas, into the inside.

When the canvas folds are all inside the vehicle....no danger of being 'nipped'.... let the roof down finally. Roll up the spare canvas at the front and attach the straps.

Pull the straps as tight as possible and secure.

Then go round and tuck the remaining spare canvas up into the space available in the roof void.

If you have to collapse the roof in the rain, make sure you raise it afterwards and dry it out as soon as possible, otherwise it could get mildew. Boy Scout stuff really!

Good Luck
