Hi All,

On a 6 week long road trip from Spain to the Scottish Highlands and opened the cabinet to discover a puddle of water. I've traced the issue to the sink drain coming undone below and the bolt has completely disintegrated. Where the bolt mounts into a piece of plastic, is broken as well. T4 California 1993.

Does anyone know where I can source the part(s) in the UK? I've attached photos.

I can’t help you with that specific part, but when I had a T4 California I used;

https://www.vwbusshop.de

They stocked all sorts of parts for Westfalia T4’s and are based in Germany but shipping to the UK was no problem.

Obviously cannot be sure but that looks very similar to the SMEV sink outlets.

I daresay, if you drill a hole in the middle at the bottom,
and get a bolt to go all the way through top and bottom.

and use a rubber washer under the nut at the bottom of the bolt
you'll be able to bodge it, and go camping while you find the right part

I've thought about doing something like this, but the plastic at the base of the drain is broken too. I can always use a bucket below the sink, but....yah
