Been spraying my bumpers this week, Using 2k paint with hardener added and thinners,
The finish is dull and not very glossy, I have wet and dryed and polished and they look ok,

Any idea why they are dull, I have a heated garage and mixed the paint hardener and thinners the advised amount,

I'am at a loss

any advise would be welcome:*:*

what sort of primer did you use, and was it flatted before you put your topcoat on. if not that
could be why the gloss level 'sank'.
also painting technique has a lot to do with the finish. if you put it on too dry it'll never look great.

Thanks Greyfox, It was a 2k high build primer wet and dryed until smooth
Not sure what you mean by putting it on too dry???
I agree, could be my novice technique,

Have wet and dryed all day today " Knackered " starting to look alot better
Thx

If you spray from too far away, or move too quickly you will get an orange peel finish. it

needs to be applied nice and wet, but you don't wanna get any runs...I:
