Ouch!

My cam belt has just snapped whilst stationary at a junction.

2 questions?

1. How much likely damage will have been caused?
2. How much is it going to cost to fix/replace the parts?

The belt snapped as I released the clutch to pull off, so not high revs and little to no movement from the van, hopefully someone can help or advice as I hoping this wont be too expensive?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers guys.

Well Im assuming its the cam belt, I have an ex AA 2.5 TDI and it's the belt on the right hand side as you look into the engine bay? Fingers crossed its just a fuel pump drive belt or summat?

Cheers again
