theres another thred on here about it,,, i go to lots and lots of volkswagen event but to be honest this doesnt sound like my cup of tea... just trade like a big volkswagen market....
But if you had got an advance ticket at £6 and 2.50 for parking still cheaper than dubfreeze Rasp: and you don't get girls in hot pants skating round :ILU:
anyway Mick you gona camp at Dubfreeze this year LOL:
What is it with parking? There is a pay and display car park right outside the show if people want to park further away and walk in they can. The show organisers can not do anything about the parking.
There are lots of people moaning about it and yes I do not like to pay for parking. If it was the organisers charging then yes I would be moaning, but it's not. I bet it's a bloody private company or the council.
I live in Telford and could easily walk to campermart.
There is lots of local parking near the area but nearly all of it is gated shopping center parking, cost depend on whether you choose a long stay or short stay park.
All of the carparks surround the shopping ctr and will allow you to walk "most" of the way to campermart indoors through the shops.
If anyone wants FREE local parking then there is a gravel carpark that is close by and about a 10 min walk through part of the town park.
Have a look on google earth find the telford international center then look south till you see a lake, the carpark is just to the right of the lake. (entrance is off Randlay avenue)
It looks a long way by road but you can walk through the park to the center.
Sometime it has a height restrictor barrier up and sometimes not.
OR, head Northwest out of the Center following signs for Malinslee. drive up the hill untill you reach a roundabout and there is a largish pub on your left with a largish free carpark, (although it fills up on Sunday morning as there is a car boot sale nearby)
If you park here and ask, anyone local will point you towards the International center its about a 5 min walk.
