Er no, not a straight fit anyway - hinges and lock position not the same if memory serves, can be made to work though, at a pinch

Just checked at work
Part number for a 1991 is 701 831 056 H
Part number for a 2001 is 7D0 831 056 C
The 1st part of the number 701/7DO determines the body code so in my opinion no it wont fit but couldnt say excactly why.

If it helps more.... the part numbers change in 1996, a 96 van could have an early or late door depending on its chassis number so if your van is a 2001 u need get a door of a 1997 or newer to be sure. Dont think the longnose / shortnose makes any difference T:
