You can use one of those double size American fridge freezers with ice on tap in your van if you have the room and power to back it up :)
May have missed it in the specs but couldn't see what voltage it ran off??

I can't find that information either. I presume it's for domestic home/office /hotel use, so I guess you plug it into the mains. Would you still be able to use it in a van if you were hooked up on a campsite and didn't open it too much when not parked up?

Simple answer, no.

I mean you could but it's so full of negative points why would you want to?

  • Large
  • Heavy
  • Power-hungry (even for a domestic fridge)
  • Expensive
  • Would drain a leisure battery in no time at all
  • Probably need time to settle after each journey before you turn it back on
  • ... so you wouldn't be able to use it on the move

You'd be much better off getting one of the Waeco CDF/CF range and hiding it in a cupboard if looks are that important.

Here's an idea, fit the usual Waeco , Dometic, Vitrifrigo, fridge, and mould a false "Retro" front cover panel. it's a lot of work but could be done in glass, gloss red, then you'd need to find a retro style handle (scrap fridge)?, the chrome letters might be a problem.
unless you can find an old SMEG ROVER !.
