Hi,
I am about to get a T5 and wanted to see if anyone had any experience of the cheap ebay coilovers. They seem to be Prosport and are around the £300 mark but claim to lower your van approx 70mm.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLKSWAGEN-VW-T5-Transporter-adjustable-45-70mm-lowering-springs-coil-over-kit-/400259123053?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d314d876d#ht_5984wt_1188

Or would do you think shorter dampers and lowering springs are better value for money? I know you can get good coilover kits around £500 but that is a little over budget.

Thanks

After all I have read, coil overs are the way to go.....but i decided to save up for the CMC version, they get a really good rep....also the cheaper ones have no adjusters for comfort....

I recently fitted a set form CMC to my T5 and they get my vote. From previous experience with coilovers on Golf's i was prepared for a bit of a hard ride but these are really good nice and compliant.T:
