Hey,

Who is currently providing the best quotes for a modified T5 with a lot of 'shiny' sportline carbon parts and side windows etc..?

I know there are stacks of insurers and so just looking for the best 2 or 3 to try before getting the van....

Cheers! :)

Another one here for Brentacre - all mods covered and very competitive. Otherwise check out A-Plan insurance - I think Dan posts on here from time to time and insures a number of users vans.
Just Kampers offer a price match / £50 if they can't beat it, but in reality the cover it offers isn't as good as the others above. So whilst they can offer a cheaper alternative it's not as comprehensive (ie. higher excess / lower audio cover etc.) and is more like a 3rd party 'basic' cover even though they class it as fully comp!

And yet weirdly, my experience of Flux and lots of others on FB pages etc is that they're a nightmare to deal with.

I'll 3rd/4th/5th Brentacre. Been with them since I've owned the van (7 years in September), have insured other cars through them during that time too and they're great. Cosmetic mods or performance mods that don't push the power beyond something like 10% of the existing power are free to add to the policy. So when I fitted my air ride, called them and told them about it and was met with a "thats fine, we'll make a note of it". Thats it.

Weirdly they couldn't get close to Direct Line for my boggo standard little Mini Clubman but I always try Brentacre first.

Hi Dan.
Multiple callback promises and none received. Chased up for quotes because I had heard good things about you for all things modified so persevered. After about 5 attempts to get a quote I eventually got one that was about 3x the ballpark quotes other modified van specialists were offering. That was over 6 years ago so maybe things have changed but the initial dealings with you have made me never bother to go back and try and get another quote come renewal time.
