Bought my first T4 last week. Driving fine until today when the clutch went on me in a contraflow!:(

The pedal dropped to the floor. Great- clutch failure was my first thought. Jumped out and looked under bonnet expecting to see a broken clutch cable- no sign of anything wrong. Jumped back in and started in gear and got her into 2nd and drove 1 miles or so home in 2nd gear. Swore a few times, then though to look at pedal- as I did a clevis pin dropped onto my hand, but no circlip to be seen. Popped it back in and it worksfine.:D

What size circlip is need for clutch pedal to cylinder actuator retaining pin please??

welcome to t4 ownership unlucky start for ya .
its not a circlip its a special clip the same as fitted to the brake pedal.
it shud not be able to come off so maybe its not been put back on after having some work done. you wud find this clip lying on ya floor mat. does enough stick thru to allow you to drill it and fit a thin washer and split pin there might just be.
or VW for a new 1 or scrap yard or ebay . T:
