I've just swapped my 16" steels with 235 60 tyres (massive) for some 18" audi rs6 wheels with 235 45 and they are as comfy if not comfier!! Maybe a bit more feedback steering but I can deal with that!!
I was expecting to be collecting my teeth from the footwell!
Can only think I had far too much air in the 16's.
Happy days!

Yeah I changed from 225 45 18s to 215 70 15 and not a great difference, but my 18s wasn't as high load rated.

45 s are a nicer ride on 18s ,I run 35s on my t4 (19 s)and 35 s on my t5 20 s both smooth rides but the suspension makes the differanceI:

I've just put a set of 245/45/18's on my bus with a 65mm drop and it's loads better than the 17's I had before.

Bit tight on the arches mind I:

Indeed, I'm on Eibachs and Bilstein, but always want to get the most comfort out of what's already there, if I can save a couple of fillings by adjusting the tyre pressures it's more money to lavish on the van! T: LOL:
