I've got a 96 2.4 none turbo LWB T4, the temperature gauge seems fine, sits around half way whilst running but after a long run once stopped I can hear a water boiling sound? Is this normal or could this be a issue like I say the temp seems fine and drives well. Cheers Dudes :ILU:

When you turn the van off at the ignition and the engine is hot you should hear the fans kick in.
There's a separate electric water pump which activates which sends water around the engine and cools it so you get no hot spots when the engine is turned off.

If it's bubbling then imo the pump is not working. Best check it out or check fan fuses etc.

Nice one ill have to check the pump, the fan kicks in as I can hear it but then there's the bubbling noise and it only seems to happen once the engine is switched off.
