Anyone had this - headlights and main beam both work fine - but turning them off often leaves the drivers side headlamp on even if still driving and the engine on. Turning engine off also leaves headlight on until a random pattern of ignition on, flash main beam, turn on and turn off seems to eventually turn it off!

I have upgraded the headlights with an UPSPEXs kit to run Nightbreaker type bulbs - but this has always been pretty good and needed down hear in deepest darkest devon.

It has recently got much worse - and will eventaully catch me out and flatten my battery - any ideas??

Just a bump on this as it's getting worse - I've noticed that a flash of the hazard lights seems to help it re-set.

Wonder if anyone has got any ideas on the ex-AA van.

Cheers peeps.

I'm no sparky, but I'll have a 'stab' at this I:

Have you tried bypassing the upgrade loom, thereby disconnecting it and reconnecting the headlights back to their original state ?

I'm thinking you may have a faulty relay possibly :* relay not being 'de-energised' ( coil in relay stuck )
