Just got a complete professional leisure rewire done to my 2010 T5. I see the CTEK charging unit has a "conditioning" mode and just want to check that I can connect to mains via the hookup and leave it running overnight on the conditioning mode, or is there a specific time this needs to run?

Thanks.

It depends how depleted the charge is in the battery. If it's fairly good it only takes a couple of hours but can take up to 24 hours to fully restore

Thanks for that. The battery is close to fully charged just now so should I stick it on condition mode for an hour or so or just leave it alone?

You only really need the condition mode if the battery has been abused. For example, you come back from a weekend away and the battery is flat. You're in a rush so don't do anything about it and then you forget. The battery sits like this for several weeks and now a condition charge is ideal. Under normal conditions I would advise charging with it set to normal once or twice a month overnight.
