Can anyone send me a link to a tool that opens them enough to get them on. Or even how to bodge one up at home?

Have to put them on again when my turbo comes back, and guessing from the fustration i had taking them off (and looking at the size of the gap) i can see it turning into a bit of a swear fest..

Thanks
Sam

you need a large exhaust clamp, take the clamp off and put the bolts on first, stick it in the c clamp and turn the bolts as if removing them it will force the clamp apart and you can put it back on with no effort or swearing or lost skin.

I've used a rope. pull it true the hole on clamp tie a knot so you can pull the other end with a bar from under the van. the rope only needs to be 12" long .
