Hi all,
I was trying to reset my clock after doing an oil change on my T5.1 and I have come to realize the 2 buttons near the Speedo don't work, which means I also can't change the time, anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks in advance

Assuming you've not made any other changes and the dash insert hasn't been removed/replaced recently, I would think it's a fault with the dash insert itself, as those switches are an integral part of it as far as I'm aware. Fixing it probably won't be a DIY job for most people, but there are companies who specialise in fixing them.

Okay thank you for your reply, I am most likely going to have a go myself first, as for what it's worth, I don't want to be paying alot of money to fix it!

If you're happy dealing with SMD and know your way around a circuit board it shouldn't be too hard to find the affected components, I would think. Whether they are easy to identify and replace may be another matter. But I don't know - never tried.

Thanks for that, I just don't understand why would something like that break on a fairly new van, very strange, makes me think it could be something alot simpler than a faulty components!
