Hi chaps,
bought a 6mm diamond drill bit yesterday to drill into some very hard tiles. The bit is full of wax which melts when it gets hot - no suprises there.
Question is, do I have to replenish the wax at any point or do I have to buy a new bit when it's all gone?

The wax lubricates the diamond tip and the drill would wear out before the wax goes. Don't use any water to lubricate and use a drill with a high rpm, around 1600 -1800 rpm is ideal.
If you've never used one before it's a good idea to masking tape right around the area you're drilling including over the hole you want to drill, drill through the tape.
The drills have a habit of skating accross the tiles so take it easy!
